Dead Armadillo Craft Brewing, Tulsa:

Nine Band IPA, 6.7% ABV:  This American India Pale Ale style is full-flavored and well balanced.  A strong malt backbone of 2-row, Caramel and Munich malts provide sweetness and structure for the nearly 10 kilos of hops added per batch in nine different stages.  A heavy dose of Nugget and Columbus hops early in the boil lend a bitter backbone with earthy spice notes, herbal tones and a decidedly resinous texture.  We dry-hop the beer in secondary with Cascade and Columbus hops for intense floral notes and citrus aromas.

Armadillo Dunkelweizen, 5.5% ABV:   Limited release and specialty brewed for Tulsa’s Linde Oktoberfest, Armadillo Dunkelweizen is made from a mixed mash of wheat and German Munich malts, but it also contains a large array of lightly to thoroughly roasted malts that give it both its color and its complexity. Our Dunkelweizen, therefore, has all the characteristic and differentiated flavors of a sophisticated wheat ale, overlaid with chocolatey to roasted flavors.
